Selected Publications
Author of Artificial Neural Networks: Theory and Applications, first published in 1998 (Computer Science School) with two commercial editions (2000, 2007). This was the first Machine Learning book written in Portuguese, widely adopted across Brazil, and has accumulated over 1,800 citations (Google Scholar).
Collaborator on the Araboia Project for disseminating Information Technologies (AI and Programming Languages) in public schools in Pernambuco, Brazil.
